Tesla Model S WORLD RECORD 12.3 @ 110.8 MPH Pass [VIDEO]

The Tesla Model S was driven to the Palm Beach International Raceway and made a few 1/4 miles runs with the car consistent running two back to back 12.678 @ 108 MPH passes.

The Model S was then plugged into the 240v 50 Amp charging station in the RV parking area for 3 hours. With the 85 kWh battery fully charged the Tesla Model S Performance recorded a best time of 12.371 @ 110.84 MPH.

The National Electric Drag Racing Association (NEDRA) was on site running their Winter EV Nationals and verified the Tesla had set a new world record for the quickest production electric vehicle in the 1/4 mile.
